Take one male - nerdy, odd, shocking, but somewhat mesmerising, and one female, a society girl with effortless class and bored of luxury - and what do you get? A shared vision. Warhol once said that 'Everybody's plastic, but I love plastic. I want to be plastic.' Clearly, he found some comfort in Edie.
